GMC Terrain AT4 2024 Interior, Specs, Colors – For 2024, GMC improved upon a remarkable vehicle by reworking the Terrain. Meanwhile, the tiny crossover Terrain’s interior is further hampered by its awkward push-button shifter. It’s a group of buttons and knobs that appear like power window controls, and they’re awkwardly placed on the floor of the center console. Although we believe owners would get used to it, we had trouble rapidly performing three-point turns or switching to manual mode due to the transmission’s tiny buttons, especially when fumbling for reverse. The Terrain is a reliable companion while transporting a heavy cargo of varying dimensions. Thanks to the fold-flat front seat and the standard 60/40 split-folding rear seat. Cargo space in the Terrain is among the best in its class. The Terrain passed our carry-on-luggage test with 24 cases, but customers looking for the maximum cargo capacity should consider the CR-V instead.
Terrain’s infotainment system is straightforward to use and fast to respond to orders thanks to its high-quality display, intuitive menu structure, and advanced in-car networking options. Unlike other GM cars, which project this feature onto the windshield, the Terrain uses a pop-up panel on the top of the dashboard for its head-up display (standard on the Denali and optional on the SLT and AT4). Standard features include Bluetooth connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a Wi-Fi hotspot. The top-tier Denali comes standard with a navigation system, while lower versions offer it as an option.

Topping the list is the Toyota RAV4, which has 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, or 33 more horses than the GMC Terrain. The Mazda CX-5 comes in second to the RAV4 and is the quickest of the bunch because of its 187 horsepower and 8.1-second 0-60 mph time. The following vehicle on the list is the Honda CR-V, which has a mediocre 190 horsepower but still manages a 7.7-second sprint. The GMC Terrain ranks last with the slowest 0-60 times and the lowest amount of power.
GMC Terrain 2024 Release Date and Price
The base 2024 GMC Terrain SLE starts at $27,900, more than most other vehicles in its class. The next trim level up, the SLT, will set you back $31,900, while the all-new AT4 trim, introduced for 2024, will begin at $34,000. Pricing for the top-of-the-line Denali trim starts at $36,600.
